Stuart Findlay was on the books at Celtic until 2016.

The Record has reported that former Celtic defender Stuart Findlay is set to be called up to the Scotland squad.
The report claims that the Kilmarnock centre-back, who began his career with Celtic, will be drafted in by Alex McLeish following Charlie Mulgrew’s withdrawal.
And if Findlay makes an international debut against one of Kazakhstan or San Marino later this month, well it might not reflect well on former Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers.
The 23-year-old was released by the Parkhead club during Rodgers’s stint as manager and maybe, just maybe, there was a lack of foresight in axing him.
Whoever officially replaces Rodgers this summer, he will need to strengthen the centre-back positions quite significantly, with Dedryck Boyata out of contract and Filip Benkovic likely to return to parent club Leicester City.
Findlay, who joined Newcastle United upon his release from the Scots, is already much better than some of the central defenders that the Northern Irishman left behind, evident by the fact that he is set to be promoted into the national team ahead of Bhoys man Jack Hendry, signed by Rodgers.
He has been impressing with Kilmarnock for much of this season, but a debut for Scotland this month would highlight the suggestion that maybe Rodgers was wrong to axe him.
