Kaveh Solhekol has told Sky Sports News that potential Arsenal buyer Daniel Ek does have the funds to buy the club.

The Spotify owner has emerged as a potential buyer, as he looks to purchase Arsenal from Stan Kroenke.

Ek’s proposed deal would see Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Dennis Bergkamp come on to the board as representatives for Arsenal.

And Solhekol claims that the three Arsenal legends wouldn’t have got involved if they didn’t feel there was a chance of the buyout being a success.

“The Spotify owner Daniel Ek is totally serious about buying Arsenal and we’re told he does have the funds to complete a deal,” the Sky reporter said.

“His consortium includes Arsenal legends like Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Dennis Bergkamp.

“We’re being told they are also totally committed to the proposed deal and they would not have got involved if they didn’t think Ek didn’t have the money to buy Arsenal.

“We’re told Ek is someone who lives, breath and sleeps Arsenal – he’s a total Arsenal obsessive and only wants what is best for the club.

“Ek is open to having fan representation on the Arsenal board if he buys the club.”

HITC took a look at just how much Daniel Ek was worth last week, when the rumours that he could buy Arsenal first emerged.

The latest update seems to be a seriously exciting one, for fans of a club where change is being seriously demanded now.

Arsenal supporters have been left raging after the Super League debacle, which saw Stan Kroenke lose the faith of vast amounts of Gunners supporters.

The hope would be that Ek would communicate more with Arsenal fan, given he is a supporter himself.

And with the backing of so many club legends, Arsenal followers would finally have a direct link with the board.
