Some Liverpool fans on social media aren’t happy after Fabrizio Romano tweeted out an update about Saul Niguez.
The Reds had been linked with Saul for some time, but they opted against the move, with the Spanish midfielder reportedly looking for wages that would have made him the club’s highest-paid player.
However, that doesn’t mean that Saul will not be moving to England. In fact, according to Romano, Manchester United are chasing him.
Liverpool fans were already fuming after Chelsea made a move for him, so you can imagine how upset they were when one of their biggest rivals entered the race.
Factor in that Romano also says that Saul is ready for a move to the Premier League, and this is a shocker of an update if you’re a Liverpool supporter.
Fans clearly want the club to work on a deal to bring Saul to Anfield, but it looks incredibly unlikely at the moment.
