The Arsenal winger scored both goals in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Reading this week.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has told the club’s official website that he feels Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain now has belief in his finishing this season.
The winger has had to wait patiently for his chance this season, managing to complete 90 minutes just twice so far.
That has been down to the fine form of Alex Iwobi and Theo Walcott, who have both impressed on either wing at the beginning of this campaign.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was handed his chance to impress in midweek in the EFL Cup clash with Reading, though, and he did just that, bagging both goals in the 2-0 win.

The first goal in particular showed his confidence is growing and Wenger believes his man has now added that to his finishing.
“Sometimes you felt like he didn’t deserve to score when he was in front of goal before. Now, I think he has added some belief to his finishing,” he told the club’s official website.
“Now we have hope that whenever he has the ball, something can happen. He’s powerful but he also finishes well and he’s added that to his game.”

Oxlade-Chamberlain will now be hoping he can regain his first-team place in the near future.
At the moment he is unlikely to get in ahead of Walcott, who is currently the club’s top goal-scorer with eight goals in all competitions to his name.
Iwobi is not in such hot form, though, and Chamberlain has a strong chance of taking the youngster’s place after this impressive showing.
