‘Wow’: Some Arsenal fans react to what the Standard are reporting now over ESL drama

Arsenal fans are reacting to reports that Vinai Venkatesham has been asked to step down from his role at the club.

The Evening Standard claim that both Arsenal’s CEO and Chelsea chairman, Bruce Buck, have been asked to step down from their Premier League roles as the division looks to fight back following the utter fiasco surrounding the European Super League.

Arsenal fans and owner Stan Kroenke have never seen eye-to-eye, so this recent ESL saga has only made matters worse.

And whilst Venkatesham is being asked to step down, Arsenal fans feel the limelight is been taken away from the real problem – the Kroenke’s.

From the six English sides announcing on Sunday that they were planning a breakaway to the drama of Tuesday evening, which saw protest after protest from supporters.

All in all, it resulted in one of the most remarkable evenings in English football history, with every so-called top-six side announcing they are withdrawing, apologies being made and high-profile figures, such as Ed Woodward walking.

And Arsenal fans want to see the real problems at their club targeted and not have the wool pulled over their eyes.
