Liverpool fans feel that they will regret not going for Patson Daka.
Fabrizio Romano says that Leicester are closing in on Daka now, with the Red Bull Salzburg striker set to move to the King Power Stadium soon.
Liverpool had previously been said to be interested in the rapid front man by Sky Germany.
However, it seems that the Reds have not really pushed to sign him, which has allowed Leicester to get a deal done for £30 million (Liverpool.com)
And Liverpool fans fear that they could regret not snapping Daka up while they had the chance.
An opportunity missed?
Daka netted 34 goals in all competitions last term, which highlighted his potential.
He is still unproven at the highest level though, and that may have led Liverpool to have some doubts.
Daka could have added pace to Liverpool’s attack, but the Reds may be hoping to land a player who is slightly more proven.
Liverpool are expected to be in the market for a forward this summer, as their attack did not function quite as effectively as in previous seasons last time around.
