Manchester City star Jack Grealish took to Twitter last night following the Premier League champion’s 4-1 win against Brighton and Hove Albion. And supporters love what the England international had to say.
The winger posted a short message after City claimed an impressive win over the high-flying Seagulls. Grealish assisted the second goal of the evening as the 26-year-old played one of his best games, so far, for his new club.
Whilst Phil Foden stole the show with two goals and an assist, Grealish was also brilliant on the night. With Brighton impressing this campaign, the summer signing from Villa more than showed his quality.
And fans on social media were buzzing with Grealish’s performance, with the attacker taking to Twitter to post a message about City’s win and his display against Brighton.
Grealish posted on `Twitter: “Great performance and result at a tough place to go! Well done boys!” The result put City second in the Premier League table, just two points behind leaders Chelsea.
With Liverpool taking on Manchester United later today, the Premier League title race could well be split into three clear candidates should Jurgen Klopp’s side claim another dominate win.
City fans applaud Grealish after Twitter post
