Everton are reportedly looking to sign Memphis Depay in January.
Manchester United winger Memphis Depay has been quoted by The Sun as saying that he isn’t sure about his future at Old Trafford amid interest from Everton.
Depay, 22, starred for the Netherlands on Sunday evening, as he struck two goals in a 3-1 away win over Luxembourg in the qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The winger was given a rare chance to impress, and his season so far has been a frustrating one. Depay has started just one game in all competitions for Manchester United this season, and has been given just 20 minutes of Premier League action.
Clearly out of favour under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, speculation surrounds the future of Depay, who was billed as United’s next big thing after he joined the Red Devils from PSV Eindhoven in 2015 a move which came off the back of a 28-goal season for the Dutch giants.

The Liverpool Echo initially reported that Everton were looking to take Depay on loan, as manager Ronald Koeman is a big fan of his fellow Dutchman – and Koeman told FOX Sports Netherlands on Sunday that he thinks Depay is an ‘interesting player’ and would like to have him at Goodison Park.
United may be open to a loan deal given Depay’s stagnation at Old Trafford, but with United and Everton level on points in the Premier League, they may not be too keen to let him join a direct rival.

After Sunday’s game against Luxembourg, Depay was quoted by The Sun as saying that he is focusing on United right now, but fans will ‘have to wait and see’ what the future holds for him as rumours of a move to Everton gather pace.
“I do not know, we’ll have to see,” said Depay when asked about a January exit. “I focus on United, I do my very best to be able to get minutes. I’m going back to United with a good feeling, because I have got minutes here and we won. That is the most important thing.”
