Gary Neville has praised James Milner and Jurgen Klopp after Liverpool confirmed their withdrawal from the European Super League last night.
Liverpool announced that they would no longer be a part of the completion yesterday, as the Super League totally collapsed.
The news came amidst an outcry from all of Liverpool’s players on social media.
But it was Miler and Klopp who Neville reserved special praise for.
The Liverpool pair had spoken out against the idea of the Super League two nights’ ago, when the Reds took on Leeds United.
And Neville said: “James Milner last night, well done to you. Well done to Jurgen Klopp for speaking out. That takes real guts.
“Well done to Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire. Well done to Patrick Bamford at Leeds and the Leeds players for wearing t-shirts. Enough is enough.”

Liverpool’s owners now face real pressure for them to stand down, as a result of their decision to join the Super League.
Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville both called for them to sell the club last night, with supporters also making the same claims widely on social media.
