Liverpool are reportedly tracking the Atletico Madrid stopper.

Liverpool are reportedly closing in on the signing of Jan Oblak from Atletico Madrid, according to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, and Reds fans were in buoyant mood on Twitter today at the prospect of the goalkeeper moving to Anfield this summer.
Don Balon claim that the La Liga side could be willing to do business for £78.7 million, £10 million less than the Slovenian’s buy-out clause, and what an incredible signing he would be for Liverpool.

Oblak, 25, is one of the most highly regarded stoppers in world football, having firmly established himself as Atleti’s number one since making his £12.4 million move to Spain in 2014.
He is incredibly agile, physically imposing, and a wonderful communicator – all qualities that the Merseyside outfit have desperately lacked in recent years.

Jürgen Klopp’s men are expected to mount a real challenge for the Premier League title next season, and if they are to do just that, signing a world class goalkeeper is surely a prerequisite…and who better than Oblak.
Here’s what Liverpool fans had to say about the reports linking the Slovenian with an Anfield switch on Twitter today…
