
Some Liverpool fans have been reacting after Jurgen Klopp commented on a potential title parade celebrating the club’s historic Premier League win.
The Reds of course couldn’t celebrate their triumph in the usual way due to lockdown restrictions, and it was reported after their title that they would hold celebrations at a later date.
Nobody needs reminding that lockdown restrictions have only tightened since the summer. Therefore, Liverpool still haven’t manged to hold their parade.
Klopp was asked about the idea of Liverpool holding a parade in the future, and he replied saying: “When it’s right to look forward to that, I will be on fire, but it is not the moment.”
The fact that Klopp says that there will be a time to look forward to that hints that a parade is still in the club’s plans, but Liverpool supporters aren’t quite on board with the idea.
Indeed, fans think that it would be quite embarrassing to parade a trophy that they’re not looking likely to retain, with one supporter even commenting that they’d be the laughing stock of the league if they did that.
