Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter after spotting Marcel Sabitzer in a club post regarding Pierre-Emile Højbjerg’s performance last night.
The upload in question showed pictures of Højbjerg playing in Denmark’s 4-0 win over Austria yesterday.
Impressively, the £15 million man scored a goal, and also got an assist, as Denmark ran riot against the Austrians.
In one of the photos accompanying the club’s post, RB Leipzig maestro Sabitzer can be seen challenging Højbjerg for the ball.
It may not mean anything, but given the recent rumours, some Tottenham fans think it might be a hint from the club.
German news outlet Bild claim that Sabitzer has decided not to extend his contract with the Bundesliga outfit, with his deal set to expire next summer.

Bild also mention that Tottenham have already made contact with the 27-year-old, and are 75% likely to sign him.
Sabitzer doesn’t have a release clause, but RB Leipzig will want £36 million for him, according to the report.
If Daniel Levy can pull this off, it would surely be one of the signings of the summer.

Sabitzer has scored seven goals while also assisting six more from midfield this season, following last term in which he was utterly prolific.
In the 2019/20 campaign, RB Leipzig’s No.7 scored 16 goals and assisted a further 11.
Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter have been saying about the club’s Højbjerg post…
