One-time Tottenham Hotspur flop, Georges-Kévin Nkoudou, has expressed his delight on Instagram at Arthur Masuaku being loaned to Besiktas from West Ham United.

On Tuesday, West Ham United announced on their website that Arthur Masuaku has secured a loan move to the Turkish club, with a view of making the deal permanent in 2023.

A versatile player, who mainly likes to operate on the left flank, Masuaku ended up making 129 appearances during his six seasons in East London, including a trip to Europe.

But last season, the 28-year-old only featured in 13 Premier League games under David Moyes, which was clear that his time was up.

Nonetheless, when that deal was done and dusted, Spurs flop Nkoudou, who only played for the club 27 times, scoring once, welcomed him to Turkey by posting the following message: “Welcome brother. Arthur Masuaku is an Eagle.”

WEST HAM TO SIGN FILIP KOSTIC?

With Masuaku out of the door, could a certain transfer target from Germany, in Filip Kostic, replace the player at the London Stadium?

West Ham are keen to bring Kostic on board – and now the latest suggestion is that the Eintracht Frankfurt is keen on donning the Claret & Blue colours.

A player that has operated that left flank at a high level, Kostic is a powerful figure, who is hard-hitting in his ways and he has an eye for goal.

If West Ham manages to secure the talents of the 2022 Europa League winner, then he would be an upgrade on what has just left the building.

With the Irons now getting used to this taste of Europe, the fans and players won’t want to stop, as another top-six finish will be targetted.
