Leeds United fans on Twitter have reacted to Chris Wilder’s post-match interview after their side beat Sheffield United 1-0 on Sunday.

In a typically forthright manner, Wilder even joked about tackling Marcelo Bielsa as he was walking past him during his interview, but he also complained about a foul in the build-up to Leeds’ winning goal, as he told BT Sport.

Patrick Bamford netted a late goal for the away side at a near-empty Bramall Lane, as Premier League football witnessed its first Yorkshire derby in 19 years without a single supporter present.

But Wilder’s comments on the referee’s decision-making and on Bielsa didn’t sit well with the Leeds faithful, who felt he was being ‘classless’ and just simply moaning.

The Yorkshire derby always has spice to it, and even though no fans were at the stadium, it still had zip and aggression to the game.

Whilst Bielsa’s side have picked up back-to-back wins, the Blades have lost all three of their games and are seemingly heading for trouble after a strong campaign last time out.

Leeds fans pointed that out to Wilder and made it clear that he now needs to focus on trying to get his team back on track.

Whilst the first Yorkshire derby played in England’s top-flight in nearly two decades has passed, it will be interesting to see who the top dogs will be between both clubs come the end of the season.
