Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after footage emerged of Luis Diaz meeting Trent Alexander-Arnold at the AXA Training Centre.
What’s the story?
Well, the Colombian met Jürgen Klopp and his new teammates for the first time following his £37m move from Porto in January.
When meeting Alexander-Arnold and Ibrahima Konate inside the dressing room, Luis Diaz made a comment which has got the Reds supporters talking.
The 24-year-old can be heard saying “Oh, Alexander” when meeting the Liverpool No.66, in what was a lovely moment.
We’d like to imagine Diaz thinks the 23-year-old’s first name is Alexander, and his surname is Arnold.
The pair then embraced in a hug, before Diaz went on to explore the rest of the AXA Training Centre and meet some more of his new teammates.
It’s a hugely exciting time for those who hold the Reds close to their heart, as it’s been a while since Liverpool made a big-money move like this.
Luis Diaz and Trent Alexander-Arnold could click at Liverpool

In our view, Luis Diaz and Alexander-Arnold could become one of the deadliest duos in the Premier League.
The England international always has his head up when in possession, and has the technical ability to pull off some outrageous passes.
For example, his long-range switch to find Diogo Jota at Selhurst Park recently, before the ex-Wolves man won a penalty, was otherworldly.

Luis Diaz is rapid, an intelligent mover and also an excellent finisher, having scored 16 goals already this season.
In that respect, he should get on the end of many deliveries supplied by Alexander-Arnold – their partnership could be a sight to behold.
For now, let’s see how the Liverpool fans on Twitter reacted after watching Luis Diaz meet Alexander-Arnold…
