Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has praised Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane on ITV (9:12pm, December 10, 2022) despite the England star failing to score his second penalty against France in the quarter-finals of the 2022 Qatar World Cup on Saturday evening.

Henderson has hailed his England international teammate and has not blamed Kane at all for the Three Lions failing to progress to the semi-finals of the World Cup.

France beat England 2-1 in the quarter-finals on Saturday evening.

Kane scored for England from the penalty spot in the 54th minute when he beat his Tottenham teammate Hugo Lloris in the France goal.

The striker had the chance to make it 2-2 in the 84th minute from the penalty spot again, but this time he could not keep his effort on target.
