Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson has admitted to the Peterborough Evening Telegraph that Celtic target Ivan Toney will be sold.
The Scottish Sun claim that Celtic are competing with Rangers for the £12 million-rated striker, who has impressed at League One level this term.
Celtic reportedly will have to make Toney one of their biggest ever signings to land him.
And Ferguson admits his star striker is available, after Posh failed to earn promotion from League One this season.
“We will probably be okay as we have excellent owners, but others will struggle. We will have to sell Ivan Toney, but we will get good money for him even in a pandemic and we shouldn’t have to sell anyone else,” Ferguson said.

The comments hand Celtic further encouragement that Toney could be available, if they do submit an offer.
Celtic’s interest in Toney is likely to depend on the future of Odsonne Edouard.
If Edouard sticks around then Celtic may choose not to spend on a striker, but if the Frenchman does depart then they will surely have to bring in a replacement.
Toney has smashed in 26 goals over the course of this season and if he was to arrive at Parkhead he would do so full of confidence.
