Stuart Dallas has claimed on TalkSport (10/10/20 at 9:20 am) that ‘we will see’ Erling Haaland play for Leeds United in the Premier League ‘someday’.

The 20-year-old, who was born in Leeds, is currently ripping it up in Germany for Dortmund and has pretty strong connections with the Yorkshire giants.

Aside from being born in Leeds, his father also donned the colours of the Whites and he has previously expressed his love towards the club [read here].

Dallas locked horns with the powerful forward when his Northern Ireland side were trashed 5-1 by Norway in September.

“Wow, what a player he is,” Dallas told TalkSport. “What a player he is going to go onto be and hopefully someday we will see him in the Premier League with Leeds.”

On paper, it’s very difficult seeing Haaland playing for Leeds in the near future given where he’s currently at and the transfer fee he would command.

But given the recent rise of Leeds, a certain Marcelo Bielsa in the dugout, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Elland Road giants in Europe during these coming years.

Whilst it’s still a very big outside bet if anyone can pull off such a miracle then Bielsa can with his own pulling powers and pushing Leeds towards competing with Europe’s elite once more, and as a result, signing the best of the best.
