Leeds United target Okay Yokuslu wants a move to the Premier League, his agent has confirmed – as quoted by El Des Marque.

Leeds are said to be chasing the midfielder, who caught the eye at West Bromwich Albion towards the back end of last season.

The Turkish international, who featured in his country’s first game at Euro 2020, quickly made West Brom’s midfield much stronger, although he was unable to keep them in the Premier League.

His current club Celta Vigo are now hoping to cash in on him, according to the latest update.

And Yokuslu’s agent, Batur Altiparmak, has suggested that a move to Leeds could appeal to him.

“There are three or four teams interested in him right now,” Altiparmak is quoted as saying.

“If we have an opportunity in Europe we will do it.”

Good signing for Leeds?

Yokuslu could be a solid option for Leeds, on his showings in the Premier League so far.

The 27-year-old may not be a permanent starter, but he would offer Marcelo Bielsa more options if Kalvin Phillips picked up an injury.

Phillips was unable to stay fit for the full campaign this term, and Leeds options to play in defensive midfield are limited without him, especially if Pascal Struijk fills in at centre-back.
