Manchester City fans have reacted to the rumours that Harry Kane could sign a new contract at Tottenham.
The 28-year-old returned to pre-season at Tottenham over the weekend after having to deny on Twitter that he has been previously boycotting training.
A lot that stems towards the Tottenham forward seemingly wanting a move to the Etihad – but, at this moment in time, he still has to report to Hotspur Way.
But now there seems to be a twist in the tale because there are suggestions from Kane’s camp that he might pen a new deal at Spurs instead.
Man City fans have offered their thoughts on this matter and they think that the Englishman is making a mistake.
On one hand, Kane might have had the biggest change of heart and he wants to stay put in North London.
But on the other, he might be pulling off a Jack Grealish and inserting a release clause in his contract that can be met next summer.
Either way, it’s proving to be a talking point amongst the Man City faithful, who have pointed out that they could have put their energy towards trying to sign other strikers this summer instead of Kane.
That’s the chaos managers have to deal with when the transfer window remains open during the season and Nuno Espirito Santo is probably in the trickiest of situations of them all.
But if manages it well then it’s kudos to his man-management skills because he has walked into a mess at Spurs.
