Antonio Conte has delivered an update around his contract situation at Tottenham, with his current deal set to expire in the summer.
The Athletic had made a recent claim that those within the club were unsure whether Conte was set to sign a new deal.
The Daily Mail also reported that Daniel Levy is “comfortable” about the £288,000-a-week tactician not having committed his future to Spurs so far.
Additionally, it was mentioned that talks were set to resume after the return of Premier League football.
However, the man himself has now had his say regarding his contract situation.
Tottenham boss Conte delivers contract update

Ahead of the Boxing Day clash between Tottenham and Brentford, Antonio Conte discussed his impending new contract.
“I think in the future, I would also like to not speak about this matter in the press conference, because I think it is much more important, the game we are going to play, in this case Brentford”, he said via Rob Guest of Football.London.
Conte continued, “But what I can tell you is that I’m really happy at the club, to work here and I have a really good relationship with the club.”
“We talk everyday with the club and try to find in every situation, the best solution.”
“But I think we have 6 months to stay together, to enjoy the situation and then we find, I repeat, the best solution. But I am really happy here. This is very, very important for me.”
Spurs need to ensure Conte signs a new deal
The previously mentioned Daily Mail report had also claimed that Conte was set to put pressure on Levy on providing him with the necessary reinforcements that equip him to achieve his objectives at Tottenham.
Ultimately, the club must do so, and convince Antonio Conte to sign a new contract, as he may just be the best signing the club has ever made.
For one of the most decorated coaches in the world to join a Spurs side that have struggled to lift silverware for years still boggles the mind.
