Leeds United fans think it is time Cody Drameh was handed his first Premier League start after his performance against Norwich City.

The 19-year-old came off the bench on Sunday to help Leeds record a much-needed 2-1 win against the bottom-of-the-table Premier League club.

Drameh played the full 90 minutes for the Whites last week, when they were knocked out of the League Cup against Arsenal.

But fans would now like to see that transcended into the Premier League, especially with Luke Ayling still on the sidelines.

The Leeds faithful like what they see from the teenager and they feel he will add more to that position than midfielder Jamie Shackleton is currently doing.

Marcelo Bielsa isn’t the type of manager that doesn’t hand young guns a chance, in fact, far from it.

If the world-renowned coach feels that you are ready, then he will hand you those minutes, on whatever stage, at whatever moment and whatever age.

But along with putting some points on the board yesterday, Leeds also put some much-needed confidence on the table.

Therefore, it will allow them to relax a little this Sunday when they take on Leicester City at Elland Road.

Fans will be more relaxed, as a result of picking up those points, so it would be an ideal chance to see what Drameh is like against a Leicester side that has produced mixed results this season.

From beating Manchester United to losing to Arsenal, it has been indifferent from Brendan Rodgers men and Leeds fans will be hoping that continues on Sunday.

But given that Leeds did win yesterday, it wouldn’t be a surprise if, injuries aside, the same XI plays.

Either way, Leeds fans now want to see Drameh from the get-go:
