Kevin Campbell suggested on the Highbury Squad that Arsenal may still have sell Joe Willock despite doing a deal for an Amazon documentary.
The former striker claimed that Arsenal ‘need the transfer money’ and Amazon have ‘very deep pockets’ hence the reason for this All or Nothing series.
Arsenal have a number of high-quality academy players producing the goods on the domestic scene, whether out on loan or donning the colours of their boyhood club.
One of them includes record-breaker, Joe Willock, who was on loan at Newcastle last season and he became the youngest player to score in six consecutive games.
“Yep, yep, we are,” said Campbell on Arsenal being desperate for money re the documentary. “Not enough (on selling a player for £10-15 million instead. Not enough.
“It’s not enough anymore. We did say that we have to cut our cloth accordingly now because we didn’t get over the line to qualify for Europe – this is a money grab.
“We need the transfer money. And Amazon have very deep pockets.
On selling Joe Willock for £35 million instead of doing the documentary: “We maybe have to do that, anyway. Whichever way you turn, we are hitting the brick wall.”

Well, Arsenal fans will be glad that Amazon didn’t film last season because it would have been utterly embarrassing viewing for them.
And if things don’t turn next season then a lot of the neutrals will surely be tuning into the All or Nothing documentary for the entertainment.
But this will provide the Arsenal supporters with a chance to see the goings-on inside the club and whether they should really ‘trust the process’ under Mikel Arteta.
