Tony Bellew has shared that Everton are missing the ‘brilliant’ Richarlison following his summer transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, as he told DAZN.
The boxing legend, who is a boyhood Everton fan, added that Richarlison was a ‘fighter’ during his days at Goodison Park and he ‘wishes him well’ at Spurs.
Richarlison might be a player that the opposition fans just hate playing against because of his antics and how he can wind people up with ease.

But, for his own supporters, as Everton fans saw for years and Tottenham fans are now beginning to see, he is someone who becomes an instant favourite because of his passionate character.
Aside from his goals, and as Everton survived relegation last season he scored some very crucial ones, it’s his character that is probably missed the most.
But what is Everton’s loss is now Tottenham’s gain, as former cruiserweight and heavyweight star, Bellew, shared his thoughts on the Brazil forward.
“Richy was a brilliant player,” said Bellew. “He was a talisman for our club and team. Someone who knew where the net was and someone who would put his body on the line.
“He was a fighter to the core. We miss him. We still love him. But everyone has their team in football, he had his time at Everton and now we wish him well at Tottenham.”

FROM THE MERSEYSIDE DERBY TO THE NORTH LONDON DERBY…
Richarlison is made for these types of games and as Liverpool fans expressed, they just hated seeing the versatile forward on the other side.
Sometimes it’s not about what you do with the ball, or if you are pinging Hollywood passes about or dribbling past player after player.
Just sometimes you can hurt the opposition with your cagey character, the ability to make something happen when there is nothing much on, just scrapping and jabbing away at your opponent, all of which is annoying them and those in the stands.
Well, that will be needed in bucket loads if Tottenham are to win in Arsenal’s backyard at the weekend because they will need a lot to dethrone their rivals from the top of the Premier League table.
