And Reds supporters were delighted to see the Senegalese forward in such good form ahead of their crunch match with Manchester United at the weekend.
Liverpool are in dire need of a victory on Sunday, as they look to breach the gap to the top four.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are playing catch up in the race for the Champions League places, with their spot in next year’s competition far from certain.
If Mane can hit form between now and the end of the season it would be a major boost in Liverpool’s quest.
Of the Reds’ attacking players only Mohamed Salah has continued to hit the net with any frequency.
Both Mane and Diogo Jota have chipped in with goals, but Mane in particular has been short of his best.
