Aston Villa fans on Twitter aren’t surprised to see that Axel Tuanzebe bossed it in the Champions League last night for Manchester United.
Despite not playing a competitive game for 10 months, the two-time Aston Villa loanee helped United record an impressive 2-1 win at PSG.
Tuanzebe was up against one of the most feared forwards in Europe – Kylian Mbappe – but it’s fair to say that he dealt with the Frenchman’s pace and power.
Even Neymar could be added to that list because both Tuanzebe and Aaron Wan-Bisaaka bossed that right-hand side from a defensive standpoint all night.
A number of Villa fans were pleased to see their former player back in action and tearing it down after he spent a number of months on the sidelines.
When Villa beat Derby in the 2019 Championship play-off final, the likes of Jack Grealish, John McGinn, Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori and Tuanzebe himself were playing in that game.

All have since gone on to shine in England’s top-flight, aside from United’s rock last night, who can now put his injury nightmare behind him and provide some much-needed solidity to United’s backline.
Villa fans are well aware of what he is capable of and some do believe that he is the best centre-back at Old Trafford.
