Ben White has stated that it is ‘amazing’ playing alongside Aaron Ramsdale, as he told Arsenal’s official Instagram account.

In the summer, Arsenal paid big bucks to bring both Ramsdale and White to north London.

White arrived from Brighton, whilst Ramsdale joined after suffering relegation with Sheffield United.

There were question marks over the duo’s signings and whether they could take the club forward.

Well, more than halfway through this season, it’s Ramsdale and White who are the ones laughing because they have been outstanding under Mikel Arteta.

White grew up with Ramsdale and during a Q/A, which was posted on Arsenal’s IG story, he was asked a number of questions by supporters.

And it seems as though Ramsdale joined in by asking him ‘what it is like playing with a mate you have known for years?’.

“What’s it like playing for a mate that I have known for years,” White repeated the question asked to him by Ramsdale.

“I think we know who we are talking about. It’s amazing. We have come so far together.

“To be able to play together in the Premier League is a massive achievement for both of us.”

Both Ramsdale and White were outstanding during Arsenal’s first-leg semi-final clash against Liverpool in the League Cup last week.

Even though the Gunners were down to ten men, they did very well to keep Liverpool to a goalless draw.

And on Thursday evening, they will be looking to book their place in the final where Chelsea are awaiting the winners.
