Paul Gilmour has told Sky Sports that he has been ‘made aware’ that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane wants his move away from Spurs sorted quickly.
Sky Sports broke the news last night suggesting that Kane wants to leave Tottenham.
And they now say that the striker wants his transfer sorted in the next few weeks, before going away on England duty.
Gilmour also suggests that Kane would ideally like to stay in England, despite Sky suggesting that one foreign club is keen.
He said: “We have been made aware that that he wants to have this all sorted before the Euro’s and the preference is to stay in the Premier League, which will be tough for Tottenham fans to take.”
Kane is unlikely to be short of suitors in the Premier League, but Tottenham do still hold all the cards in the negotiations.
Spurs have plenty of other saleable assets if they need funds, and Kane is under contract until 2023.
While he may have some desire to leave Tottenham are unlikely to sell him cheaply.

And it has to be said that any move surely looks unlikely to occur quickly, given his importance to the team and Daniel Levy’s negotiating style.
Tottenham will likely demand a club record fee for any club looking to buy Kane, and it should be anticipated that negotiations will be difficult.
For that reason it is hardly out of the question that Kane could remain at Spurs next season, although the latest update does plunge his future into doubt.
