Thierry Henry has suggested that Arsenal transfer target and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen could join Graham Potter’s Chelsea in the summer.
The Arsenal legend noted that Chelsea are in need of a number nine, just like Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United and the soon-to-be French champions, Paris Saint-Germain, as he told CBS Sports on Paramount+ (15/03/23 at 10:10 pm).
The Napoli forward netted a brace on Wednesday night as Luciano Spalletti’s side breezed past Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.

Added to their dominance in Serie A, everything Napoli are touching is turning into gold, or in this case, blue, because they have been outstanding since day dot this season.
It has seen Osimhen, who is a transfer target of both Chelsea and Arsenal ahead of the summer, notch up 23 goals in 28 games in all competitions, including four in the Champions League.
He is a player that, once again, impressed Thierry Henry last night and someone who has ‘everything’, according to the legendary striker.
On which team Osimhen could join: “We go back to a Chelsea,” said Henry. “We go back to a United. Paris-Saint Germain will look for a nine because they are looking for a nine. So many teams.
“We know Haaland is there (at Man City). Let’s not talk about Kane, where he is going to go or stay. But those are the teams I am thinking that are playing without a nine, at the minute. He’s going to go, wherever he wants to go. I think he can adapt to a lot of sides.
“When you play in a team like Napoli, everything goes through him right now. Kvaratskhelia gets the ball and it’s to him – but it’s a different ball game when you go and play in a front three. When I talk about big teams and a big front three, then sometimes balls are not always going to you – but everything finishes on him (at Napoli).
“Other than that, he has everything. He can hold the ball. He can run into the channel. He can finish well, with his head and with his foot. Time will tell. Wherever he goes, we don’t too far ahead, but it looks like he is going to leave.”

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FOOTBALL
The issue with Chelsea is that they might not be in the Champions League next season, so it probably wouldn’t be a wise move from Osimhen to swap Naples for West London.
It’s understandable that there are so many teams keen on the Nigeria star, but surely he goes to a team playing in the biggest club competition in the world, or else, there is no point in leaving.
Either way, given the volume of goals Osimhen is scoring and the quality he is showcasing, it won’t be too long before a Premier League team with a wad of cash comes knocking on Napoli’s door, it will then be up to them to answer.
