Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting after Tanguy Ndombele was named in the club’s UEFA Europa Conference League squad.
The Frenchman had initially been left out of Spurs’ squad for the qualifiers, but now he’s back in the reckoning for the group games.
It’s been made clear that Ndombele is a player that Nuno Espirito Santo doesn’t fancy at Spurs, but after the club failed to ship him out in the summer window, it seems as though he may have a lifeline in north London.
It’s unlikely that we’re going to see Ndombele starting in the Premier League on a weekly basis, but, as with any European competition, Spurs are likely to rotate in the Conference League, and he may get the chance to shine.
Supporters are certainly happy with this news as they seem to still believe that the Frenchman has something to offer.
Only time will tell whether or not Ndombele will prove himself at Tottenham, but fans are very pleased that he may get the chance.
