Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Kostas Tsimikas coming off against Spain.

Liverpool left-back Tsimikas was in action for Greece in their 2022 World Cup qualifier against Spain on Thursday evening.

The 24-year-old has had injury problems at Liverpool this season and has also struggled for playing time when fit, but he started for Greece against Spain away from home.

The left-back played well against a strong Spain team and was holding his own before he had to come off in the 80th minute.

According to WhoScored, Tsimikas had a pass accuracy of 54.6%, took 46 touches, and made one tackle, one interception and four clearances.

It appeared to be a cramp that forced Tsimikas off, and the Liverpool left-back also looked tired.

According to WhoScored, the former Greece international left-back has played just five minutes in the Premier League and 131 minutes in the Champions League for Liverpool so far this season.

Liverpool have been hit hard by injuries this season. Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip are long-term injury concerns. Jordan Henderson is on the sidelines at the moment, while Fabinho, Thiago, Diogo Jota and Naby Keita have also been out this season.
