Kyogo Furuhashi has taken to Twitter to partake in a Q&A session on the official Celtic account, where he shared some interesting comments.

What’s the story?

Well, the Japan international was asked who he gets along with the most at Celtic Park, and he named not one, but three players in Anthony Ralston, Jota and the £3.5m man Liel Abada.

Kyogo said: “We are all very close but especially Liel Abada, Jota, Ralston, everybody really!”

It’s pleasing to hear that he gets along with everybody, as it suggests Ange Postecoglou has created a tight-knit group in Glasgow.

In some ways, it’s also good to hear Kyogo leave out his Japanese teammates.

It would be easy for the likes of Kyogo, Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate to separate themselves from the group and remain in their comfort zone.

However, Kyogo has clearly mingled with everybody regardless of any language or cultural barriers, which is brilliant to see.

Kyogo could take Celtic up a level

Next season, when the 27-year-old is 100% fit with a full pre-season under his belt, Postecoglou’s side could go up a gear.

Kyogo hasn’t really had a chance to gel with the likes of Hatate, Maeda or Matt O’Riley on the pitch while he’s been out with a hamstring injury.

However, when all of them take to the pitch together, it should make for some mouthwatering attacking football from the Bhoys.

Hopefully, Kyogo can remain injury free from now on, and add to his 16 goals for Celtic.

After his phenomenal start to life at Parkhead, everybody is desperate to see him shining for the Hoops once again.
