Aston Villa fans haven’t taken too kindly to comments from West Ham defender, Vladimir Coufal, about Jack Grealish.
Following the conclusion of England’s 1-0 win against the Czech Republic at Euro 2020, where both the Villa and West Ham duo featured, Coufal had some interesting words to say about the playmaker.
Coufal told beIN SPORTS that Grealish is a ‘fantastic’ footballer, but added some controversy to his claims by saying he hopes he will move from Villa to a ‘better’ club.
During that Euro 2020 showdown at Wembley, Grealish actually assisted Raheem Sterling for the only goal of the game.
His lovely weighted cross, which came off his weaker foot, came after he outfoxed both Coufal and his Czech teammate on the left-hand side.
But the comments from the West Ham defender after the game haven’t sat well with the Villa Park faithful.
Both Coufal and Grealish have had some battles last season and it continued out on that Wembley pitch on Tuesday.
They will be looking to resume their battle next season, no doubt, because both are outstanding players in their respective positions.
