The Baggies youngster is being tipped by some West Brom faithful to have a fruitful 2019-20 at The Hawthorns.

A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Kyle Edwards’ display in the 1-1 friendly draw against Rotherham United on Tuesday night.
The highly rated Baggies youngster was brought into the fold on 62 minutes by Slaven Bilic and put in a bright shift at the New York Stadium as the Championship side and the League One opposition cancelled each other out.
Edwards showed great footwork on the left after being slipped in by Filip Krovinovic and let in with a strong effort that was charged down, and he also saw a powerful curling strike kept out during his half-hour showing.
Here is what some West Brom fans said about the 21-year-old midfielder – who received praise from ex-boss Jimmy Shan last week on social media:
Edwards came through the ranks at The Hawthorns and made 11 senior appearances last season, including six in the Championship, and scored twice, including a superb solo effort against Brentford in the league in mid-March for a 1-0 away win.
With his West Brom contract taking him until the summer of 2020 having renewed it 18 months ago (official WBA website), Edwards will be hoping to impress Bilic this term, break into the first team and extend his tenure at The Hawthorns – and so far so good, it seems.
