The Baggies are reportedly on the verge of bringing the R’s right-back to The Hawthorns.

A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the transfer rumour linking Queens Park Rangers ace Darnell Furlong with a move to The Hawthorns, according to the Express & Star.

The 23-year-old right-back has made over 60 appearances for the Hoops and had also loan spells with Northampton Town, Cambridge United and Swindon Town, and new Baggies boss Slaven Bilic is believed to be a big fan of the player.

According to the report, a switch from London to the West Midlands is seemingly imminent, with a fee of around £1.5million having been agreed between West Brom and QPR for Furlong, which in turn will enable Allan Nyom to be sold to Spanish club Getafe.

In addition, the Birmingham Mail has reported that QPR have already earmarked a replacement, a loan for Chelsea youngster Dujon Sterling, which appears to add substance to the links between Albion – who have recently dipped in the transfer market with the quickfire signings of Kenneth Zohore and Semi Ajayi – and Furlong.

Here is what some West Brom fans on the social media platform have said about the links:

Furlong – whose father Paul played for QPR as well as West Brom’s local rivals Birmingham City – has two years left on his contract at Loftus Road.
