West Brom fans react on Twitter to Jake Livermore display against Reading

The Baggies midfielder has had his fair share of criticism by West Brom fans during his time at The Hawthorns.

A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Jake Livermore’s performance in the 1-1 Championship draw with Reading at The Hawthorns on Wednesday night.

The Baggies captain, who has had his fair share of criticism during his time at The Hawthorns, has looked much improved this season as he put in another stout display in the navy and white stripes, helping to break up numerous Royals attacks and kickstarting several Albion attacks.

While some West Brom fans criticised him for one error he made in the game, the general consensus was that he was one of the better Albion players on the pitch, and several fans appealed for others to lay off him as much as they may have been doing.

Kenneth Zohore’s late penalty rescued a point for West Brom after Reading’s Ovie Ejaria opened the scoring for the visitors, only for him to concede the late spot kick, which the Albion summer signing converted for his first goal in the navy and white stripes.
