Everton have signed two new forwards this summer and one can help the other become a Toffees superstar.
After signing Sandro Ramirez from Malaga earlier this summer, most would agree that Everton have snapped up a bargain, but could the arrival of fellow forward Wayne Rooney be the factor that turns the Spaniard from a hugely promising player into a great one?
After all, the former Manchester United skipper knows Everton better than most players and his influence could ensure Sandro learns what it takes to excel at Goodison Park, harnessing his innate talent and ultimately taking the Premier League by storm.

While Rooney may be approaching the twilight of his career, he still has plenty to offer Ronald Koeman’s side, both on and off the pitch, and if he takes Sandro under his wing there are few better teachers for promising young goal-scorers still playing the game.
Rooney will want to make a mark on Everton himself during his second stint on Merseyside. However he could be just as important in helping Sandro settle before fulfilling his own potential.
The 22-year-old was a cut price deal in an otherwise inflated market and if he plays the way he did in his one and only season for Malaga, Everton fans will soon be signing his name on a regular basis.
With 16 goals in 31 outings for his former club, he clearly knows where the goal is, but if he listens to Rooney’s advice he could reach a whole new level in time.
