Everton manager Sam Allardyce has come under pressure in recent times.

Wayne Rooney has told the Liverpool Echo that the players at Everton want stability.
Sam Allardyce’s future at Everton looks uncertain, with the calls for him to be sacked growing louder from supporters.
Everton beat Huddersfield Town 2-0 at the weekend, but the voices of discontent were clear from the away section at the John Smith’s Stadium.
However, Rooney seems to have a differing opinion, as he wants Allardyce to remain in charge.

“I think that’s what everybody wants [stability],” the £10 million signing from Manchester United last summer said.
“Obviously it’s tough having three managers in one season, that’s not the normal situation that you face.
“I think the club, we all want stability and I’m sure the owners will do that.”
If Allardyce does stay on, it is sure to cause controversy at Goodison Park.

Everton may have progressed under his stewardship, but he has not won many plaudits for style.
Everton are now in eighth place in the Premier League table, with just two games remaining this season.
If Allardyce does leave Everton, Paulo Fonseca and Marco Silva are the current front runners to land the job.
