Speaking on talkSPORT’s GameDay Podcast, Trevor Sinclair has been full of praise for Jack Harrison after his wonderful hat-trick against West Ham this weekend.
Sinclair was reviewing all of the game’s from the Premier League this weekend, and while he was critical of Romelu Lukaku’s finishing earlier on the podcast, he was blown away by Harrison.
Indeed, Sinclair even went as far as to make a direct comparison between Lukaku and Harrison.
What’s Sinclair said?
The pundit gave the winger a glowing review.
“I’ve got to say Jack Harrison, look at a lot of these players who’ve had difficult or unusual pathways to make it to the Premier League. Harrison has been all over the world, and he has that ability to keep going. He’s made it and this was the cherry on the cake. The performance he put in was exceptional and his finishing, as we said earlier, was way better than Romelu Lukaku’s,” Sinclair said.

Better finishing than Lukaku
As strange as it may be to compare a quick winger to a mountain of a striker, it has to be said that Harrison was more clinical than Lukaku this weekend.
The Belgian really struggled in front of goal against Manchester City, while everything Harrison touched turned to gold against West Ham.
It’s never a good sign when your £97.5m striker is being compared to a winger who was playing in the Championship just two years ago.
To put it bluntly, Lukaku really needs to step up in the coming weeks.
