Tottenham centre-back Davinson Sanchez has a tendency to come up short against powerful strikers.

Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez was recalled to the starting XI at the weekend, but he endured a rough time during the 2-1 loss away to Watford in the Premier League.
Spurs weren’t quite at the races at Vicarage Road, as they dropped their first points of the season and tasted defeat against a spirited Watford side.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino recalled Sanchez to his backline, as he featured alongside teammates Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.
The 22-year-old is definitely a talented centre-back that possesses a lot of tools to be an elite player and his first year with the North London has been a success.
But a reoccurring issue was once again highlighted at the weekend, as his problem against powerhouse attackers cropped up.
Sanchez is brilliant at reading the player, strong in possession and a beast in the air, but can come unstuck against strong opponents.

The Colombia international was caught out a couple of times by Watford’s powerhouse captain Troy Deeney, who bundled him to the ground in the second-half with brute strength on one particluar occasion.
He endured a tough match at the back end of last season too against Salomon Rondon, who was playing for West Brom at the time, and he needs to learn to deal with these types of strikers more effectively.
Sanchez is always keen to get in an early tackle, but there is the risk of being turned over easily when facing a strong opponent and he may need to take a more patient approach.
It is one of the areas of his game that still has room for improvement and it should come with more experience.
