Daryl Janmaat spent two years at Newcastle United, and was relegated with them in 2016.

Daryl Janmaat has taken a dig at Newcastle United fans at a Watford fans’ forum.
Janmaat had a turbulent time at Newcastle, and was part of the Magpies’ squad which were relegated from the Premier League in 2015/16.
Janmaat had clashed with Newcastle supporters during his two year spell at St. James’ Park.
And the right-back admits that he feels that atmosphere at Vicarage Road is very different to what it was like at his former club.
“It’s massively different to my former club,” Janmaat said. “Newcastle fans expect too much and can moan quickly.”
Janmaat ended up making 77 appearances for Newcastle during his time with the club.
The right-back never managed to become a fans’ favourite at St. James’ Park though.
Watford fans, on the other hand, do seem to have taken to Janmaat – who has shown his value to their squad.
As things stand, Watford are 11 points clear of Newcastle in the Premier League table.
