Neither side has been in good form of late; the Hornets are without a win in two games while their visitors last won at the end of October.

Both sides main strikers are also struggling for their best form at this moment in time too.

Troy Deeney has failed to find the back of the net since the beginning of October while Romelu Lukaku is without a goal in four games.

So how do the two players compare so far this season? We have taken a look at their stats.

As it turns out, Lukaku has been the better player as he comes out on top in all but one key area.

The Belgian has registered more shots per game, 2.5 compared to 1.3 as well as more shots on target per game, 1.4 compared to 0.5

He has also enjoyed a better overall shooting accuracy and as a result, has more than double Deeney’s goal tally.

Creatively he has been better also, registering more key passes per game and more accurate passes per game.

He has also enjoyed a better overall passing accuracy, 69% compared to 58%, although interestingly both have three assists to their name so far.

A win for Lukaku overall, though, and Everton will be hoping he can come out on top in Saturday’s early kickoff.
