Troy Deeney has been linked with leaving Watford for Newcastle.

Deeney has had a troubled season at Watford due to injury, suspension, and fresh competition for his place, leading to speculation he could depart.
ESPN report that Newcastle United are plotting a move to sign him this month.

Deeney has been at Watford since 2010, and he has scored more than 100 goals for the Hornets.
Veteran goalkeeper Gomes is keen that Deeney stays although admits the striker is facing a big decision.
He said: “He’s a face of the club, he’s very important but it’s up to him to decide what’s going on in his life and hopefully we can be together for a long time.
“Even if he’s not going to start, it’s important that he’s there, that’s he’s around.”

At 29, Deeney faces a big choice whether to move across the country, although Newcastle are yet to submit a formal offer for the striker.
Deeney scored in the FA Cup at the weekend but this was just his third goal of the season.
In the Premier League he has managed only seven starts. Last season Deeney scored 10 goals in 37 Premier League games.
