According to reports from the Daily Mail, Watford are weighing a move for Montpellier forward, Steve Mounie.
The Benin striker has enjoyed a brilliant 2016/17 campaign where he scored 14 goals in all competitions, and caught the attention of several English clubs.
The report states that West Bromwich Albion are also interested in the 22-year-old who would cost around £13 million.

The Baggies should make him a priority target this summer.
Salomon Rondon was the top scorer at the club last season with eight goals which also included a hat-trick. The second highest scorer in the team was the 37-year-old defender Gareth McAuley, which clearly suggests where the club needs to strengthen this summer.

In his first full season at the French top tier, Mounie has been impressive and went on an impressive run around February-March, where he scored in five consecutive games.
He is quick, powerful and good in air, and appears to be a perfect Tony Pulis type player. Based on last season alone, it won’t be unfair to say that he could be a potential upgrade on all the current forwards at West Brom.
