Watford beat Everton 3-2 at Vicarage Road in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Watford bounced back from two consecutive defeats to record their first win over Everton since 1987.
The Hornets went behind in the 16th minute when Romelu Lukaku got on the end of Gareth Barry’s lofty pass to poke the ball home in the Premier League encounter at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon.

Watford improved as the half progressed and got a well-deserved equaliser through Stefano Okaka in the 35th minute.
The Italian forward got on the end of Nordin Amrabat’s cross to cleverly flick the ball past Martin Stekelenburg in the Everton goal.
Walter Mazzarri’s side took the lead midway through the second half when Sebastian Prodl got on the end of Jose Holebas’ free-kick.
The hosts were cruising and doubled their advantage from Okaka just four minutes later. The forward’s second of the game came as he headed Holebas’s corner over the line.

There was still time for a late Everton surge, as Lukaku pulled one back with an 85th minute header from Aaron Lennon’s cross. But the hosts held firm to secure their fourth home win of the season.
