Watford beat Arsenal 2-1 at Vicarage Road on Saturday night.
Tom Cleverley of Watford celebrates
Watford came from a goal down to beat Arsenal 2-1 on Saturday evening, with midfielder Tom Cleverley the hero thanks to his last-gasp winner.
The Hornets have impressed under Marco Silva this season, but fell behind to the Gunners when Per Mertesacker converted Granit Xhaka’s corner for the opening goal.
However, Watford roared back late on, as Richarlison won a penalty from a clumsy challenge by Hector Bellerin, and substitute Troy Deeney stepped up to score from the spot.

In the dying embers of added time, a goalmouth scramble ended up with the ball dropping to Tom Cleverley, completely unmarked from eight yards out, and he smashed the ball home to give Watford all three points.
The goal capped off another impressive performance from midfielder Cleverley, who is playing his best football with the Hornets having struggled to make an impact with Everton.
Cleverley, 28, struggled to settle with Everton after signing from Manchester United in 2015, and was often criticised under both Roberto Martinez and Ronald Koeman before leaving earlier this year.

When Watford paid to sign Cleverley permanently, Everton fans took to Twitter to mock the Hornets for the deal, laughing at the fact that they even wanted him on loan, never mind permanently.
However, Watford fans took to Twitter on Saturday night to hail Cleverley for a ‘colossal’ display against Arsenal, with their love for the midfielder a far cry from his reputation at Everton, with fans even touting for a recall to the England national team.
