Everton are struggling under Marco Silva right now.

It’s fair to say that, if Everton boss Marco Silva could avoid any game right now, it would probably be a trip back to former club Watford.
Sadly for Silva, that’s what’s on the horizon. His Everton side must face the daunting task of taking on Manchester City on Wednesday night, but then it’s back to Vicarage Road for Silva.
Silva was of course appointed Watford manager back in the summer of 2017, and made a blistering start to life with the Hornets before things turned sour.
Silva was courted by Everton and wanted to move on, but Watford wouldn’t let him – and with form nosediving, Watford sacked Silva on grounds that his focus had waned after Everton’s pursuit.
Everton got their man over the summer but were still locked in a battle with Watford, somehow managing to prise Richarlison away from the Hornets despite a terrible relationship between the two clubs.
Watford earned a draw at Everton earlier this season, but will now host Silva’s first return to Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon in a game that has huge importance.

Silva has now won just three of his last 12 games after a home drubbing by Wolves on Saturday, and Watford fans are giddy at the prospect of putting the final nail in his coffin this weekend.
Hornets fans have been taking to Twitter to suggest that they want Javi Gracia’s side to beat Everton and get Silva the sack, seeing it as some sort of revenge for the events of last season whilst believing that it really could happen on Saturday if Everton head into the game after being beaten by City.
