William Troost-Ekong has told Ben Foster’s Cycling GK channel that he thinks Harry Kane will leave Tottenham for Manchester City this summer.
The Watford defender came through Tottenham’s academy as a youngster and admitted it might come back to ‘haunt’ him but the Englishman is the one who he wants to face this season.
Of course, Kane needs to get on the pitch in order for him to pit his wits against one of the best in the game.
But Troost-Ekong thinks the Englishman will be wearing Manchester City colours and not those of his current club in North London when he faces him this season.
On which player he is looking to face this season: “It’s obviously going to be a striker,” said Troost-Ekong. “I think this might come back to haunt me. But I am going to say someone good.
“Harry Kane. I would say that’s it. I think he’s going to be playing for Manchester City. That’s going to be my shout.
“I want to play against him but it’s not going to be nice, is it? But we might just do something.”

It’s understandable that Kane didn’t feature for Spurs at the weekend as they beat Man City 1-0 in front of their own fans.
But this is the week that will probably be the most crucial because Kane will have a full week’s training under his belt.
And if he doesn’t future against Wolves at the weekend then it will say a lot as to where Kane is at amid this transfer saga.
