The 19-year-old has made a move to Vicarage Road.
Watford’s Vicarage Road
Aston Villa have seen plenty of their young players go out of the exit door this summer.
One such player was Charlie Bannister – a talented young goalkeeper.
The 19-year-old was included on the released list by Villa in the summer – along with the likes of Janoi Donacien, Benjamin Siegrist and Charles N’Zogbia.

But it has not taken long for the talented keeper to find himself a new Premier League club.
Bannister has joined Watford on a one-year contract.
It has been confirmed by Watford, on their official website, that Bannister has been snapped up by the Hornets after featuring as a trialist in previous games for Watford this summer.
Watford’s Heurelho Gomes looks dejected
Bannister will go into the under-23 team and is seemingly not set to threaten the Watford first-team goalkeeping staff that consists of Heurelho Gomes, Costel Pantilimon, Giedrius Arlauskis and Rene Gilmartin.
Bannister will do battle with Nathan Gartside for a regular place in the under-23 set-up under the club’s development coach Harry Kewell.

Villa signed a new goalkeeper this summer with Italian Pierluigi Gollini arriving from Hellas Verona to be the club’s number one stopper, with Brad Guzan subsequently sold to Middlesbrough.
