Watford were thrashed 6-1 by Liverpool earlier today, and Walter Mazzarri puts them ahead of Arsenal and Chelsea as favourites for the Premier League title.
Speaking at his post match press conference, Watford boss Walter Mazzarri shared how Liverpool are the best team that his side have faced so far this season, and labelled them as his favourites to win the Premier League title, as quoted by the Mirror.
The Reds ran out convincing 6-1 winners over the Hornets at Anfield earlier today and, in doing so, moved to the top of the Premier League table, one point clear of second placed Chelsea.

Mazzarri told reporters how Jürgen Klopp’s side have impressed him more than any other other side that his Watford tam have faced this season, as quoted by the Mirror:
“No doubt of the teams we have played, Liverpool are the team I’m most impressed by. If they continue to play like this, they are number one for winning the Premier League. I stress of the teams we have played.”
The Hertfordshire side have already faced Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea so far this term, so Mazzarri’s words must be a huge boost for Klopp’s men.

The Merseyside outfit have not lost since August 20th, and have produced a plethora of awe-inspiring displays that have led to their impressive record of 30 goals in 11 league outings.
Next up for Liverpool is a trip to St Mary’s to take on Southampton following the international break.
